hq-launcher respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information the application uses and how it is handled.

Information We Collect

hq-launcher does not operate its own user account system and does not sell or share personal information.

The application may process the following information locally on your device:

• Application settings
• Installed mod configuration
• Launcher state and preferences
• Game-related statistics provided by supported local tools or mods
• Google OAuth authentication tokens, if you choose to connect Google Sheets

Google Account and Google Sheets

If you use the Google Sheets integration, hq-launcher may request permission to access Google Sheets.

This access is used only to read spreadsheet or sheet information required for the selected feature and write supported game statistics to the spreadsheet you configure.

hq-launcher does not use Google account data for advertising, analytics, resale, or unrelated purposes.

Google OAuth tokens are stored locally on your device and are used only to perform the Google Sheets actions you request through the application.

You may revoke access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

Local Data Storage

hq-launcher stores configuration and authentication data locally on your device. This may include launcher settings, disabled mod lists, and Google authentication tokens.

Uninstalling the application or deleting its local configuration files may remove this data.

Third-Party Services

hq-launcher may interact with third-party services, including GitHub, Google APIs, Thunderstore, and other mod distribution sources.

Use of those services may be subject to their own privacy policies.

Data Sharing

hq-launcher does not sell personal information. The application only sends data to third-party services when required for a feature you choose to use, such as writing data to Google Sheets.

Security

We take reasonable steps to protect locally stored data. However, no software can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your device and Google account secure.

Children's Privacy

hq-launcher is not directed toward children under the age required by applicable law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Updates will be reflected by changing the "Last updated" date above.
